I grew up along coastal South Carolina in the 60s and 70s, spending countless days enjoying fun in the sun on beaches of the Grand Strand. In the mid-1970s I purchased a 35mm camera and took an interest in black and white photography. With camera in hand, I explored the coastline and photographed the eccentric laid back lifestyle during the 1970s to early 80s.
